This eLearning course aim is to train healthcare resources on "The District Health Information Software (DHIS2)". This is a tool for collection, validation, analysis, and presentation of aggregate statistical data, tailored to integrated health information management activities. DHIS 2 is developed by the Health Information Systems Programme (HISP). It is a modular web-based software package built with free and open source Java frameworks. The DHIS2 software is used in more than 30 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the South Pacific, and countries that have adopted DHIS 2 as their nation-wide HIS software including Bangladesh, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Ghana,and Liberia.
After completion of this course, participants are expected to get practical knowledge about how to use and apply DHIS2 tool. Interested participants can self-register and can learn in their convenient and free time.
